Since its implementation in 1990, the neoliberal programme has produced a chain of systematic violations of the rights to life, to decent employment, to a healthy environment and especially to the rights of women. The right of workers to enjoy job stability is considered by the powerful to be an unacceptable privilege, while strikes and protests are turned into crimes against investments.
